For extra fun, there is also a floodlit toboggan run in Abtenau – guaranteed success for little speed demons!

Those who prefer not to ski can enjoy building snowmen, sledging, snowball fights or a winter walk through the enchanting countryside. The ice rink in the village also offers plenty of skating fun.

There is also plenty to discover outside of active excursions. Visit a local farm, where children can feed animals and see how cheese or butter is made. Or take a trip to the nearby Golling Waterfall, the Eisriesenwelt ice cave or the Wildpark in Salzburg – all of which are special experiences for the whole family.
